The Carina Nebula is a massive and beautiful nebula located in the constellation Carina. It is one of the largest and most active star-forming regions within the Milky Way galaxy and is home to many young, hot, and massive stars.
The Centaurus A galaxy is somewhat peculiar-looking in comparison to galaxies we are more familiar with like the Milky Way. It has an unusual shape, with a bright core surrounded by a disk of dust and gas. Uniquely, the Centaurus A galaxy also has two large, elongated lobes of gas and dust that extend far beyond its core and almost perpendicular to its spinning disk.
The Tarantula Nebula is an incredible nebula located within the Large Magellanic Cloud — a satellite galaxy of the Milky Way. The nebula itself is approximately 160,000 light-years from Earth and is one of the largest and most active star-forming regions in its group.
